engagment ring - i know im crazy

I know this is a little crazy but I picked out this engagement ring. I know there is absolutely no way that I will be getting it anytime SOON, but I saw this ad in a magazine at work and I thought it was gorgeous. Of course that diamond wouldn't have to be that big, but I'm just wishfully thinking.

I also wanted to test the new scanner we got for the office and this was the first thing I saw laying on my desk.

It works.

I figured I'd scan this picture because I'm sure I'll lose the ad and forget about the ring. I want to be prepared just in case, ya know, a miracle like a decent guy happens to come along.

for a good cause of course...

old blog

So, I think I mentioned it in my first post but yesterday I found my old blog which was really weird. The entire blog is about the rise and fall of the relationship with my first love, Rob. What is weird about that is the night before I found this, I had a dream about him.

Don't get me wrong, Rob and I are still good friends. There is 9 years of history between us...and it's too long and complicated to discuss now. We are civil and we manage to talk/hang out every blue moon. The underlying feelings are and probably always will be there.

So anyway, the night before I found the blog I had a dream about him. It was one of those really quick dreams but it was basically him coming up to me, sweeping me into his arms and the kissing me.

So weird that I dreamed that and then found my old blog about him. I'll probably text him tonight.

NKOTB

I nailed the events of the NKOTB concert last night with my first post. As predicted NKOTB caused a bitter feud between my sisters and I as usual. All was fabulous until NKOTB began performing. We had a great time before that----we tailgated with boxed wine in my mom's mini van looking SUV.

<-----I got a little tipsy...not gonna lie.

NKOTB was great from what I saw. I would have seen the entire concert, but my sister Melissa and I got into a huge brawl during the performance. And by huge brawl I mean she slapped me in the face a few times with her large banana hands. Yea, it wasn't pretty. So, I decided that I was going to make a statement and I had my cousin Amanda pick me up from the concert. Yea, I was being a baby.

Whatever, it was fun anyway.

poppin the cherry

So I have nothing to say, I'm going to be honest. Except that I'm going to see New Kids on the Block today. I hope they have they have their same old corny dance moves.
I'm going with my 2 sisters--which brings me back to the days when we used to be OBSESSED with NKOTB. My oldest sister, Maggie, would tease my hair like hers and we'd play with our NKOTB dolls. Of course we each had a boyfriend from the group. Maggie's boyfriend was of course the most gorgeous--stunning blue eyes and innocent looks, Joey. Melissa needed the leader of the group--the big Kahuna, Jordan...he was the badass of the group that was the fan favorite.

So which one was my boyfriend? I of course wanted Jordan also, but my sister would not have that because he was already hers and he could only have one gf. My sisters would always say, "Dina, you can have Jonathan--he's colorblind, he'll date you."

Tonight should be fun.
